F&N Malaysia and Coca-Cola Renew Distribution Agreement
Malaysia`s number one soft drink manufacturer renews five-year bottler`s and distributor`s agreement with Coke.
The agreement builds on the companies` well established 68-year relationship and cements their commitment to a mandate to better serve Malaysian customers and consumers and grow their share of the RM 2 billion ready-to-drink market.
F&N Holdings Berhad chairman Tengku Syed Badarudin Jamalullail hailed the signing of the agreement as a milestone and a win-win relationship in building and developing expertise and excellence from marketing, manufacturing and distribution.
"F&NCC will leverage the synergies of its long and mutually rewarding relationship with The Coca-Cola Company to advance its vision of becoming a Malaysian world class beverage company," Tengku Syed Badarudin added.
Coca-Cola Malaysia country manager Reiner Becker said The Coca-Cola System in Malaysia will leverage The Coca-Cola Company`s marketing and brand building expertise with the F&NCC`s manufacturing and distribution strength to continue to grow the companies leadership and market share in the ready-to-drink sector.
"Malaysia continues to be an important market for The Coca-Cola Company. We see significant opportunities, not only for our soft drinks business but also for other category of beverages. With strong emphasis behind the core business, coupled with aggressive marketing initiatives and developing new beverages, I am confident that we will continue to better serve our customers and consumers and improve our market share," Becker added.
