THE BASE MATERIAL
EDV Packaging coextrudes the PS/EVOH/PE multilayer material at its production plant in Barcelona. The material is available in a natural finish as well as in a variety of colours. The EVOH layer provides excellent protection to Oxygen, gases and aromas and allows the product to be preserved at ambient temperatures with an excellent shelf-life. The structure can withstand thermal treatments such as hot filing and the PE layer offers hermetic sealing, easy opening with a peel off lid and moisture barrier.
The puddings and custards are sold four-unit multipacks, individually sealed with a peelable aluminium foil. The design is completed with a printed carton showing funny baby cartoons.
