Edouard Roquette Appointed as Chairman of Roquette Board
A director of Roquette subsidiaries in Asia and North America, Edouard Roquette had been Vice-Chairman since 2010 before taking over the Chairmanship from Marc Roquette.
13 Jul 2012 --- Following the AGM (Annual General Meeting), the Roquette Board of Directors held a meeting on 15 June 2012 at which Edouard Roquette was appointed as Chairman.
A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Lille (ESC) – now the Skema Business School - Edouard Roquette, aged 48, joined the family business in 1994 after seven years with a chemical group in Canada and France. He then held successive marketing and sales posts at Roquette’s head office in Lestrem (Pas-de-Calais) and in the United States before taking on the management of Roquette Ventures in 2010.

Marc Roquette, whose term of office as Director has been renewed, wished to relinquish the office of Chairman, a role he had played since 2004. He is still very much involved in the life of the Group. Expressing appreciation of his Chairmanship, Edouard Roquette commented that “Through his commitment to the policy of innovation rolled out in recent years, Marc Roquette has taken the Group forward and strengthened its reputation as a leading, pace-setting, ethical business”.
