DS Smith Has Won First Prize In The "Formes De Luxe" Competition.
07 Nov 2014 --- Champagne for DS Smith who have won the "Formes de Luxe" prize for their Veuve Clicquot packaging!
The case developed by DS Smith Consumer Packaging for Veuve Clicquot convinced the jury of professionals and readers of the "Formes de luxe" magazine. The "envelope" case won first prize in the Etui pliant category in the major luxury packaging competition. The ceremony took place in front of 600 people as part of the Luxe Pack fair in Monaco.
In partnership with DS Smith, the company Veuve Clicquot wanted to develop a case that gave a nod to the correspondance between Madame Clicquot and her many customers by subtly evoking the postage marks.
The choice of colours, the selected finish as well as the texture of the case are all in perfect harmony with the emblems of the Veuve Clicquot house and bring postage marks to mind. But in this case it is not a letter inside but a bottle of Veuve Cliquot champagne which the consumer accesses with the help of a push-button which pays tribute to the comet, a symbol of the brand.
