Door County Distillery Awarded in Two International Spirits Competitions

09 Jul 2014 --- Door County Distillery’s gin, Luminous vodka and single-malt whisky have garnered awards in two prestigious international competitions this spring.

The distillery’s gin and Luminous vodka were both named Double-Gold medal winners in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, with the single-malt whisky scoring a silver medal. These honors came days after the same spirits were recognized at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge in New York City. There, the distillery’s gin scored a 91 out of a possible 100 points, the Luminous vodka earned a score of 90 and the single-malt whisky an 88. Door County Distillery’s gin was the highest-rated North American gin in the Ultimate Spirits Challenge competition. It was also a finalist in the gin category and was classified a “Great Value.”
