Diverse look at flavours
The Maxens team drew their inspiration at the source of various destinations, synonyms for flavors, for authenticity and for conviviality to offer senses a real invitation in the journey.
Degussa Flavors & Fruit Systems France SAS recently presented the unique ‘Indulgent Escapades’ project for its Maxens flavours brand. The project is claimed to illustrate Maxens’ adaptability in front of the food industry needs and its capacity to anticipate the trends to set up the most innovative developments.
The Maxens team developed a pro-active project developed for the four main market areas: beverage, dairy, savoury and confectionery. They drew their inspiration at the source of various destinations, synonyms for flavors, for authenticity and for conviviality to offer senses a real invitation in the journey. Sweet or savoury, crisp or tender, soft or liquid: each of the proposed products is claimed to be a subtle balance of shapes, colours, ingredients and flavours. The aromatic compositions of Maxens recreate the geographic and cultural universe of the destination chosen to allow its identification from the narrow-minded first ones.
Every range developed within this project is highlighted by Pilot flavour connected to a destination and its evocation. The company assembled four products in a box in the savoury, dairy, confectionery and beverage categories.
The savoury range is illustrated with a cheese spread for crackers – ‘greedy snack’. The concept is claimed to show itself in mouth by the association of the flavour ‘salad nicoise’ of the cheese spread and the aroma ‘tapenade’ of crackers and so delivers the sunny notes of the tomato, cucumber, tuna, black olive and anchovy.
The dairy range is demonstrated through a creamy and airy dessert. Slightly whipped, this innovative aerated dessert is claimed to widen the range of dairy products: appealing like a soft white cheese, light like a mousse, and indulgent like an ice cream. The evocation, which surrounds the flavouring looks East, with a subtle alliance of orange blossom, honey and cinnamon.
India inspired the Maxens team for the development of a mini chewing-gum of an extraordinary aromatic power with a base of black tea, mango and spices ‘which transports us at once towards this subtle and heady world’.
Finally the concept box brings you a trendy Brazilian beverage with a lime flavour. Sparkling or still, the concept is claimed to offer, ‘the delight of pleasure and well-being’.
