Cremeo and Ingredia Strengthen Partnership
The board of directors of the Swiss company Cremo and of the French group Prosperite Fermiere/Ingredia (Prosperite Fermiere is the main shareholder of Ingredia) has decided to exchange respectively 5% of their own capital.
13/10/06 After more than 15 years of partnership in the development, the production and the marketing of milk proteins (MPC & MPI), the board of directors of the Swiss company Cremo and of the French group Prosperite Fermiere/Ingredia (Prosperite Fermiere is the main shareholder of Ingredia) has decided to exchange respectively 5% of their own capital.
This transaction reinforces and confirms the long-term strategy of both companies, i.e. bringing an optimal added-value to skimmed milk by the development and the production of milk proteins and their commercialization over national and international markets.
Cremo SA, based in Villars-sur-Glâne, Switzerland, collects and processes 360 million litres of milk into a wide range of dairy product varieties: milk, cream, cheese, butter and dairy ingredients. They have been exporting large volumes of dairy proteins in collaboration with Ingredia for many years.
Ingredia SA, based in Arras, France, collects and processes 350 million litres of milk into functional ingredients. INGREDIA has developed strategic partnerships with several dairy groups out of Europe for the past years.
