Cory Packaging Inc. acquires DH Associates

13/02/06 Rochester's flexible packaging company Cory Packaging Inc. has acquired DH Associates, a leading full-service packaging broker primarily serving the baking industry.
The move will bring DH Associates' strong national sales force and experienced customer service staff to Cory. The company will continue to service and support its larger national accounts as well.
Along with selling flexible packaging products through DH Associates, Cory Packaging offers comprehensive packaging products and services to a variety of food and beverage industry segments, including snack foods, fresh produce, fruits and nuts, baked goods, coffee, condiments, frozen foods, candy, meats and poultry, lawn and garden, pet food and pharmaceuticals. The company's capabilities at its Tampa, Florida Master Packaging facility include 1-10 color printing, laminating, bag-making, pouch-making, slitting and warehousing. Cory Packaging also owns Cory Graphics, a pre-press and plate- making trade shop in Rochester, N.Y.
Headquartered in Rochester, N.Y., Cory Packaging Inc. is owned and operated by Joseph and Ryan Madigan. The Madigans have been in the flexible packaging business for over 30 years, servicing the bakery and other consumer food product industries.
