Compass Group, Foodbuy select Javo Beverage as on-demand liquid coffee supplier
Javo's On-Demand coffee system is expected to assist Compass in managing many standard and even some challenging coffee service operations.
16/08/05 Javo Beverage Company has announced that it was recently selected by Foodbuy, LLC, to be the supplier of "on-demand" coffee to Compass Group, The Americas Division for its contract feeding and hospitality operating companies. The Americas Division contains the US, Canadian and Latin American operating groups of Compass Group, PLC, the world's largest foodservice company. Through company-owned members such as: Morrison Management, Eurest, Bon Appetit, Chartwells College and University Dining, Restaurant Associates and Creative Host Services it provides food, vending and related services on client premises for thousands of locations.
The selection of Javo On-Demand by Foodbuy, LLC, the purchasing arm of Compass, followed an extensive review of the coffee's flavor, operational performance and value against many of the world's foodservice coffee heavyweights. Foodbuy secured broad and unequivocal support from the operating divisions of Compass and the product is to be installed, initially, at more than 500 locations currently serving on-demand or liquid coffee.
Javo's On-Demand coffee system is expected to assist Compass in managing many standard and even some challenging coffee service operations.
The Compass-Foodbuy and Javo relationship is structured to be long term and the parties have executed a supply agreement covering on-demand coffee for Compass Group's diverse portfolio of operating sectors. Compass is one of the largest purchasers of on-demand coffee in the US and with future growth in its contract management and hospitality operations, company officials at Javo will witness substantial revenue growth and new opportunities.
