Coca-Cola Zero launched in Canada
A new zero calorie cola with the real taste of Coca-Cola.
29/09/05 Canada, Coca-Cola Ltd. is celebrating the countdown to zero with the launch of Coca-Cola Zero - a new zero calorie cola with the real taste of Coca-Cola. Canadians can now enjoy "the real thing" without the calories just in time for the new hockey season.
To celebrate the Canadian launch of Coca-Cola Zero Coca-Cola has invited fan-favourite Toronto Maple Leafs alumni, world air hockey professionals and Torontonians to come on down to Yonge-Dundas Square to take part in the world's largest air hockey tournament. The event will be MC'd by Nick Kypreos, Toronto Maple Leaf alumni and NHL analyst with Rogers Sportsnet.
Aimed at young male adults, the launch of Coca-Cola Zero is a natural tie-in for the start of hockey season, and Coca-Cola is taking advantage of that.
Coca-Cola Zero will be supported by an extensive marketing campaign including out-of home and television advertising, and samples of Coca-Cola Zero will be distributed at various opening NHL games. Advertising and sampling programs will also be conducted at college and university campuses across Canada.
Coca-Cola Zero will be available in a broad range of sizes. It will be packaged with masculine and modern stylized black, red and white graphics and will be available in 355 mL cans, 591 mL bottles, 2 litre bottle, and Fridge Mate cases. Look for Coca Cola Zero in stores across Canada.
