Cargill to Change Sunny Fresh Foods Name to Kitchen Solutions

31/08/07 Sunny Fresh Foods, Inc., a manufacturer of egg and breakfast products and a subsidiary of Cargill, announced that it is changing its name to Cargill Kitchen Solutions, Inc. Sunny Fresh will officially begin doing business as Cargill Kitchen Solutions on Sept. 4.
“We are changing our name to better position our business with the needs of our customers and to heighten our continued support of the objectives of our parent organization – Cargill,” said Mike Luker, president of business. “The company was not sold or consolidated, and has not changed its management or primary activities. We are simply making this name change to make our company stronger.”

Based in Monticello, Minn., Sunny Fresh has facilities there and in Big Lake, Minnesota, Mason City and Panora, Iowa, and Lake Odessa, Michigan and Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada. The company employs 780 stakeholders.
