18/01/08 In response to the significant growth in the food industry in the Middle East, Cargill is adding a new office for its texturizing business in the Gulf region.
Alex Luneau, Sales Director for Cargill Texturizing Solutions in Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: "Cargill's move in expanding its presence in the Gulf is indicative of the growth in population density and related business opportunities in the Middle East in recent years. This has led to more international and national food manufacturers establishing and expanding their production capacity to meet local and regional market needs."
Denis Palacioglu, Cargill Texturizing Solutions Sales Manager for Turkey, Middle East and Africa will manage the new office, located in Dubai. Denis states: "Our aim is to work closely with local food companies to help them meet the needs of Middle Eastern consumers for traditional and modern food types that combine texture, flavour and healthy eating appeal. We will combine our texturizing know-how with the complementary expertise locally available from Cargill's other Middle Eastern businesses - health and nutrition, flavours, sweeteners and meat (Seara) - to provide our customers with synergistic, tailor-made and cost-effective solutions."
Cargill Texturizing Solutions is one of the world's leading suppliers of texturizers and emulsifiers to the global food and beverage industry.
The new office address is: Cargill Middle East, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Saba Tower 1, 23rd Floor, Office 2303, PO Box 212453, Dubai-UAE.
