Campina Launches Optimel Control that Helps Control Appetite

27/11/06 Campina is launching Optimel Control, a dairy drink with natural plant extracts that help to ensure you eat less at your next meal. This new innovation from Campina helps to keep weight in balance in a natural way. Studies by TNS NIPO show that half of the Dutch population (aged 25 to 50) has difficulty in maintaining a healthy weight, even though almost everyone (89%) regards a healthy weight as extremely important. In order to meet the needs of this group, Campina is introducing Optimel Control. Scientific research shows that drinking Optimel Control reduces energy intake at the next meal by at least 10%. Optimel Control will be on sale in Dutch supermarkets from 27 November 2006.
