Caldic Completes Acquisition of Omnichem

Oct 4 2010 --- Caldic, a distributor and producer of chemicals for many different markets, has completed the acquisition of Omnichem, a leading distributor of chemicals within the UK. This acquisition by Caldic underlines its strategy to further expand its business entities. The Omnichem business is a complimentary addition to the existing activities of Caldic UK.

Omnichem is a distributor of chemicals, established in 1991 and operates nationwide, from distribution sites in Melton Mowbray and Dewsbury and has 50 employees. Omnichem supplies a wide variety of chemicals to a range of different industries, including textile, leather, chemical, metal, detergent, laundry, paper, leisure, agricultural, water treatment and engineering.

Caldic’s core business is the distribution of chemicals, supporting a wide range of markets therefore with this acquisition; Caldic is reinforcing its growth as a distributor.
