Braskem Releases New Polyethylene for Making Closures
Named GE7252, it was developed by the Injection segment team and it is made in the polyethylene unit of Rio Grande do Sul.
1 May 2012 --- Braskem has just released a new resin designed to meet the market of closures for fresh water and juices. Made with bimodal technology, it enables both excellent processability and the prevention of odor and flavor transference to the product packaged. Named GE7252, it was developed by the Injection segment team and it is made in the polyethylene unit of Rio Grande do Sul.
"In respect to the former generation of products for that application, in addition to the organoleptic advantage, this new resin has 60% better injectability", completes Marcelo Yamane, from the Products Development area of Braskem.
