Boisset America Sells 'Mohawk Distilled Products,' its Domestic Spirits Portfolio, to Heaven Hill Distilleries, Inc.
The sale includes all of Boisset America's domestic brands, including Mohawk Spirits and Liqueurs, Newport Spirits and Liqueurs, Basilica Liqueurs, Liquore, Melone, Rosita Tequila, and Silverhawk.
07/06/07 Boisset America has sold its domestic spirits portfolio to Heaven Hill Distilleries, Inc. The sale includes all of Boisset America's domestic brands, including Mohawk Spirits and Liqueurs, Newport Spirits and Liqueurs, Basilica Liqueurs, Liquore, Melone, Rosita Tequila, and Silverhawk.
"The agreement allows Boisset America to strengthen its focus on our core strategy of growing the super and ultra-premium imported spirits portfolio, including Idol Vodka, La Certeza and Lunazul Tequila, Marie Brizard Liqueurs and Gautier Cognac. This will bring greater emphasis on our efforts to constantly grow our luxury assortment in the fast-growing categories of specialty imported liqueurs, cognacs, vodkas and tequilas," said Jean Charles Boisset, President of Boisset America.
