Biorigin to Highlight Natural Solutions for Salt Reduction and Flavor Enhancement at FiE
The company will launch a new line of natural ingredients for the enhancement of umami taste called Bioenhance. This line was added to Biorigin’s portfolio by the acquisition of the US company PTX Food Corp.
28 Oct 2009 --- For the first time, Biorigin will participate in Food Ingredients Europe. During its first participation in FI Europe (stand B81), Biorigin will present its natural solutions that, in addition to flavor enhancement, may allow salt reduction in final products.
Bionis and Biotaste yeast extract product lines promote salted baked notes, reducing up to 50% of salt content in the final products.
The company will also launch in the European market a new line of natural ingredients for the enhancement of umami taste called Bioenhance. This line was added to Biorigin’s portfolio by the acquisition of the US company PTX Food Corp. Other natural solutions shown to the visitors will be the line Goldcell and the ingredient Mannovin. Goldcell line includes dry inactive, autolysed, and mineralized yeasts. The new product of this line to be shown in the fair is a torula yeast product – Goldcell NY.
The product Mannovin is exclusively aimed at the wine market. It is a natural mannan protein that contributes to round up wine flavor. Biorigin is present in more than 30 countries, and it focus on the development of innovative natural solutions that promote society’s health and quality of life. All its products are GMO-free and allergen-free.
