Beverage Acquisition, LLC acquires The Switch Beverage Company

19/04/06 Entities related to or advised by the Investment Management firm, Luther King Capital Management, through Beverage Acquisition Company, have purchased the assets of The Switch Beverage Company, Richmond, VA.

The Switch CEO Brian Boyd said, "The Beverage Acquisition Company was organized by LKCM in late 2005 to acquire emerging and established specialty niche beverage and food companies in the Natural Food & Beverage markets. We are currently looking at several other acquisitions in this space today and are excited about the opportunities that exist."

Founded in 2001, Switch Beverage produces, markets and distributes "The Switch" brand, an alternative beverage. The Switch is a unique and original beverage - a slightly carbonated 100% juice beverage that contains no preservatives or additives.
