BERICAP’s Face Lift Closure for the Syrup Market
The predecessor of the HC EV 29/21 Hinge Closure was launched successfully for premium edible oil some years ago. That closure typically fitted two types of bottle material – glass and PET – and therefore enabled a syrup bottler producing both bottle types for brand differentiation to use just one closure type.
20 Nov 2013 --- The face lift closure of the one-piece hinge closure has been designed with a slightly bigger lip to support better opening of the upper closure part. The hinged closure part has also been modernized with shaped ribs above the opening lip.
The glossy surface lends a premium, contemporary look to the closure and the bottle. The built-in tear-off membrane safeguards the tamper evidence function and protects the integrity of the product. The beak-shaped pouring lip allows precise, drip-free pouring. A flow regulator can be offered as an additional pouring support. An optional embossment on the top or a side print enhances the closure and the brand.
Several bottlers have since opted for that closure variant for their PET or glass packaging.
