Indeed, the idea of having a closure that can be reused as a whistle or a trumpet after the beverage is drunk has been developed between BERICAP and KOFOLA which was looking for some competitive advantage to grow faster than its competitors in Eastern Europe (Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia) and to build a strong and sympathetic notoriety among its main market, that of children.

Such whistle closure does not require any modification of the capping line of the customer but cannot be used for aseptic line, unless after irradiation.
Since its introduction, the closure has proven to be an unbeatable marketing tool, used in most of KOFOLA’s TV commercials and news paper advertising campaigns, and was also used by KOFOLA as a tool to expand its activity in new territories such as Romania and Croatia.
