AllergyKids and Wild Oats Markets Announce Distribution Partnership
According to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, at least 1 out of every 15 children under the age of three has a food allergy.
16/11/06 AllergyKids announced that its products will soon be available in all 75 Wild Oats stores across the country. The AllergyKids products that Wild Oats will initially sell include: AllergyKids' Green Med Case, AllergyKids' Black Lunch Sack, AllergyKids' Green Snack Sack, AllergyKids' Simple Pack, AllergyKids' Starter Pack, and AllergyKids' Round Sticker Pack.

According to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, at least 1 out of every 15 children under the age of three has a food allergy. Food allergies affect an estimated 2% of the adult population and 8% (or 5 million) American children. From 1997 to 2002, the prevalence of the peanut allergy doubled, suggesting an annual growth of 20% a year of children with life threatening food allergies.
