AirTran Airways Gets Fizzy with Cherry Coke and Cherry Coke Zero
While adding the new cherry sparkling beverages to its inflight service, the airline will phase out Black Cherry Vanilla Coke.
07/05/07 AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc., announced that it will be the first airline to begin serving Cherry Coke Zero and Cherry Coke onboard all flights effective in May. While adding the new cherry sparkling beverages to its inflight service, the airline will phase out Black Cherry Vanilla Coke.
AirTran Airways has a long history with both The Coca-Cola Company and its bottler Coca-Cola Enterprises, Inc.,. The airline was the first airline in the world to board Coca-Cola Zero, Coca- Cola with Lime, Minute Maid Lemonade, Dasani Water, Vanilla Coke and Black Cherry Vanilla Coke. Today, AirTran Airways boards 13 different Coca-Cola products, including Coca-Cola Classic, Diet Coke, Sprite, Sprite Zero, Coke Zero, Minute Maid Lemonade, Dasani Water, Cherry Coke, Cherry Coke Zero and three types of Minute Maid juices.
