Agavero Tequila Unleashes its Secret Ingredient
Agavero is the ultra smooth 100% blue agave tequila hand blended with the Damiana flower, a legendary flower known for centuries as a potent aphrodisiac.
12/08/08 Do you think you have what it takes to keep your significant other fulfilled? If you said yes, think again. According to a new survey, nearly half of Americans polled said they were less than satisfied with the passion in their personal relationship and 40 percent said their current level of passion, by movie standards, was rated PG-13 or under. In response, Agavero tequila has designated August 14 as the start of a month long passion stimulus package. The kickoff date corresponds to Agavero's newly coined "Halfway to Valentine's Day" holiday. Agavero is the ultra smooth 100% blue agave tequila hand blended with the Damiana flower, a legendary flower known for centuries as a potent aphrodisiac.
Agavero tequila and Ipsos polled more than 2,250 Americans and found one common theme; Americans are lacking passion in their personal relationships and are in need of something to turn up the heat.
Here are some of the key findings the survey revealed:
-- Let's Hug It Out: Apparently, sometimes a hug is all it takes. 36 percent of men and 46 percent of women defined passion as a loving, longing embrace.

-- Old Flames Never Die: Agavero.com offers a Lovers Margarita recipe that some couples desperately need. 28 percent of those surveyed said their most passionate night happened with an old flame rather than their current partner.
-- Get a Room: 56 percent of people said anniversary or Valentine's Day were their main two days of passion each year. That leaves 363 passionless days each year to work with!
-- Cue the Barry White: A little soft music can go a long way. 29 percent of men and 41 percent of women found soft music and a private candlelight dinner was all they needed to get excited.
For generations, the mystical powers of Damiana Flower, the legendary aphrodisiac and Agavero's key ingredient, have stirred the passions inside the souls of many couples. So Agavero can be the perfect ticket to getting people in the mood for passion and adding a spark to their personal relationships.
Agavero is best enjoyed neat, sipped slowly to enjoy the smooth flavor, but it can also serve as an alluring ingredient in a host of tempting food and drink recipes.
Diane Brown is the author of the "The Seduction Cookbook" and an expert when it comes to using fine spirits such as Agavero and its Damiana flower ingredient to ignite people's passion.
"My specialty is enhancing the senses through the use of aphrodisiacs," Brown said. "There is nothing more powerful than the effects aphrodisiacs have on the human body. I use Agavero in many of my recipes and have experienced firsthand the passion power of the Damiana flower."
With Diane's help, Agavero has created tips for Americans on how to take control of their lives and bring back passion this "Halfway to Valentine's Day:"
-- Passion at Unexpected Times and Places. Don't underestimate the power of surprising your significant other when they least expect it. Out of the blue, give your partner a bouquet of flowers, a private candlelight dinner, massage or simply share a Lover's Margarita with some chocolates, a passionate after dinner ritual sure to ignite sparks. Don't wait for your anniversary or Valentine's Day to take time to celebrate your relationship and spend some special alone time together. Your partner will be ecstatic by the fact that you surprised them "just because you care."
-- Spice Things Up. Don't wait until it's too late to show that special someone your inner passion. People define passion in different ways, so work to take your passion to the next level. If soft embraces are what your partner fancies, then don't wait to do it. Enhance any night by buying lingerie and treating your partner to a massage. Or take your partner out for a night of dancing and frolicking. Ensure that your most passionate nights will now be forever linked to your current partner.
-- Be Bold, Not Old. Create excitement in your relationship by experiencing something together that you have never done before. Push the envelope, be active. Trying new things together is a great way to create intimacy. Passion doesn't come to you, you have to create it!
-- Feed Your Passion. Put a passionate twist on dinner by using sensual foods and adding Agavero tequila. It could simply be an Agavero glaze or marinade to create a mouthwatering dish or a sumptuous Agavero infused Tiramisu. Then finish off the meal with a delicious Agavero cocktail such as a Love on the Rocks. Host your passion picnic in the bedroom and take turns feeding each other. Trust us, Agavero, sensual food and hands can create the perfect passion storm!
"Too often people wait until a special occasion to ignite passion and do something special for their partner," added Brown. "But everyday should be Valentine's Day. It's important for people to show their partner how they feel about them on a daily or weekly basis, before the passion is lost."
