Adam's 100% Introduces New and Improved Mangosteen Juice

01/11/07 Adam's 100% Inc., the only U.S.-based producer and retail distributor of 100% pure mangosteen juice and nectar, announced that its new and improved juice, which has a lighter, more delicious flavor, has the highest level of mangosteen xanthones, biologically active phytonutrients that have potent anti-oxidant properties, than other competing juices.
The new juice features refined mangosteen ingredients that make it creamer and more refreshing. The juice consists of a fresh fruit puree of the white meat, pit and a portion of the inner rind of mangosteens; the fruit's outer rind is dried and crushed into a powder and added. Unlike other juices on the market that use concentrates, extracts and other fruit juices as filler, Adam's 100% Mangosteen Juice is made only from mangosteens. There are no additives, water or sugar added.

An independent third-party analytical laboratory, ChromaDex, Inc. ran a High Performance Liquid Chromatography analysis of Adam's 100% Mangosteen Juice side-by-side with four other commercially available mangosteen juices. The Adam's 100% Mangosteen Juice tested higher on all six xanthones, including 3-Isomangostin, 8-Desoxygartanin, Gartanin, alpha-Mangostin, Hydroxycalabaxanthone, and beta-Mangostin, than the four other juices tested.
Mangosteens, a rare and exotic fruit originally from Malaysia, are considered to be the best-tasting fruit in the world. They have a delicate, sweet, slightly tart taste, similar to the combined flavors of strawberry and pear or lychee and coconut.
