A Sweet November in Store as Fannie May Continues Expansion of Retail Store Locations

19/11/07 Chocolate lovers around Chicago searching for Pixies or Mint Meltaways as gifts -- or even just for a little self reward -- will find it easier to indulge this holiday season.

Between now and the end of November, Fannie May Confections, Inc. will open six new retail locations around the Chicagoland area. Illinois openings will occur in Northbrook, Vernon Hills, Wheaton, Bolingbrook and downtown Chicago, with the sixth store opening near South Bend in Granger, Ind.

This marks the latest in Fannie May's continued retail expansion. With these six openings, Fannie May will have 61 stores employing more than 600 people, most around the Chicago area.

For those looking for that sweet Chicago gift of Fannie May chocolates, Fannie May Confections, Inc. is also opening twenty-four seasonal kiosks, which will appear in malls and shopping centers throughout the area. Locations will include Chicago Ridge Mall, Golf Mill Center, Randhurst Shopping Center, Fox Valley Center, Louis Joliet Mall, Gurnee Mills, Northbrook Court, Stratford Square and Woodfield Mall. The kiosks will contain all your holiday favorites.
