Weener Develops New Mustard Spout
The new spout is especially suited for mustard bottles. It features a vinegar reservoir that traps the liquid and, in doing so, ensures that only mustard exits the bottle, leaving the clear liquid behind.
Aug 23 2011 --- We are all familiar with the unpleasant phenomenon that occurs when squeezing the mustard bottle – when a clear liquid comes out before the actual product comes to light.
This effect is not only unattractive; it also gives rise to doubts as to whether or not the mustard is actually still edible. Moreover, the exiting liquid also has a tendency to drip precisely where we really don't want it – for example on the tablecloth. Enter the new spout that Weener produces in the US on behalf of TricorBraun.
The new spout is especially suited for mustard bottles. It features a vinegar reservoir that traps the liquid and, in doing so, ensures that only mustard exits the bottle, leaving the clear liquid behind.
The hinged lid with the integrated liquid reservoir features an active hinge, which is designed so that no white fracture occurs even after multiple uses.
