VION Food Appoints New CFO

27 Aug 2013 --- VION Food hereby announces that it has appointed Mr Kenaad B. Tewarie as VION Food’s Chief Financial Officer. Kenaad B. Tewarie will start work on 1 September 2013 and will report to CEO VION Food Stefaan Vansteenkiste.

Kenaad B. Tewarie is currently the CFO/CIO of Euretco, the Netherlands’ largest retail-service organisation where he is co-responsible for strategy and policy. At Euretco, B. Tewarie successfully supervised the merger with and the integration of the retail-service organisation Intres. From 2001 to 2007, he worked as CFO and member of the board of directors of the Laurus supermarket organisation. Prior to this, he was a member of the board of directors of beef producer Weyl. Kenaad B. Tewarie has wide ranging international management experience in the fields of finance, tax, treasury, ICT, M&A in food and non-food.
