Van Hees Develops Spice Blends for Brazilian BBQ Meat
28 Oct 2013 --- Millions of sports fans can hardly wait for the football world event in 2014, an event that presents butchers with a perfect opportunity to focus on the host country's own culinary delights. Van Hees GmbH has developed a campaign encompassing a new series of spice blends and a wide variety of recipes along with a specialised logo and slogan: Brazilian BBQ 2014.
Three new products will form the basis for the campaign, three products to reflect the variety of South American specialities in both name and formula. All three products sport the "oGAF" name suffix, meaning that they are free of additional glutamates and declarable allergens.
Named after the legendary beach in Rio de Janeiro, Van Hees Copacabana oGAF spice blend has been developed for making coarse spicy sausage, with cumin, garlic, pepper, nutmeg and fine herbs giving the product its intensive tang.
Ideal for barbecued beef, pork, or poultry, Vantasia Ipanema oGAF is named after Rio's other famous beach. Carefully ground chilli, red-hot pepper and mild aromatic pink peppercorns give the product its mouthwatering look, and fine sea salt with coriander, cumin, and very smoky paprika provide that unmistakable taste.
Vantasia Brazilian Summer oGAF gourmet marinade conjures up that promise of a fantastic summer event, a product sporting a balanced spice formula with brown sugar, fine mint and genuine rum together with natural lime flavouring ideal for poultry, beef, pork and fish dishes.
These three products open the doors to a wide variety of creative Brazilian-style specialities; Van Hees also provides butchers with a broad range of recipes specifically developed for the campaign, recipes that reflect Brazil not only in their looks and taste, but also in their name. The range extends from Rio Roster grilled sausage through Caipi Roastbeef steaks to De Janeiro Pepis kebabs and Piri Ribs as pork spare ribs.
The new products are due for launch in February 2014, but VAN HEES sales consultants will be happy to talk to you now and plan a campaign with you using your own Brazilian-style recipes.
