The latest version was developed between Langmead Farms, Tesco and Van der Windt Packaging Ltd to support the recent in store Organic Promotion and this is how it works.
Oct 19 2010 --- Van der Windt Packaging Ltd has been working with various packers to produce an eye catching way of presenting their goods in Supermarkets that still protects the products during transit.
The Tray Top Cover is not a new concept but the addition of specific custom printing and a removable cente panel has found great success.
The latest version was developed between Langmead Farms, Tesco and Van der Windt Packaging Ltd to support the recent in store Organic Promotion and this is how it works.
The tray on the left shows how the product used to arrive in store and the tray on the right shows how the new idea of using a Tray Top Cover looks.
The member of staff presses into the edge of the centre panel where the Tray Top Cover has been perforated and then proceeds to remove this panel.
The panel is easy to remove and clearly displays the product whilst retaining the printed outside edge that promotes the product of event.
Once removed the difference between the 2 displays becomes evident. The product is very visible and the Promotion is attractive to the customer.
The end result is the product is accessible and the customer is attracted to the display by the clear promotion point of sale; this will lead to increased sales.
