Univar to Distribute Wild’s Sunwin Stevia System
Univar will market and sell Sunwin Stevia Reb A extracts and WILD’s Taste Modification Systems initially within the approved French and Swiss markets and then, throughout Europe as authorisations are granted.
22 Nov 2010 --- WILD Flavors GmbH and Univar have agreed to work together to market and distribute an exciting range of Sunwin Stevia products, WILD Taste Modification Technologies, and other sweetening blends in Europe and the Middle East.
WILD Flavors GmbH, a global leader in food, beverage and flavor product development, in conjunction with its partner Sunwin International, one of the top global providers of high quality Stevia extracts, have developed a working relationship with Univar, a leading global chemical and food ingredients distributor.
Univar’s industry focused sales and marketing teams will complement WILD and Sunwin’s ingredient knowledge and manufacturing capabilities to increase value for customers. Univar provides technical expertise in application development, excellence in logistics support, and outstanding customer service to help its high profile client base. Univar¹s food technicians develop recipes and formulations for new food and drink products in their dedicated laboratories, enabling customers to sample the effects of the ingredients on finished applications.
The agreement with Univar enables WILD to gain greater reach and penetration in the European market and complements WILD’s existing sales and marketing activities beyond WILD’s existing customer base. WILD’s proprietary Taste Modification Technologies and blends are used with Stevia to deliver outstanding taste for a wide range of food, beverage and other applications.

Sunwin Stevia Reb A extracts are calorie-free, completely natural, high-intensity sweeteners extracted from the leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana plant. When naturally purified, it is 200 to 300 times sweeter than sugar, depending on the specific extract concentration. Sunwin Stevia is pH- and temperature-stable. It provides a perfect solution for the rise in demand for low-sugar food alternatives and, as it has a negligible effect on blood glucose, it is attractive as a natural sweetener for people on carbohydrate-controlled diets, such as diabetics.
