Twelve Diageo Brands are Recognized for their Performance by Industry Analyst Adams Business Research
Its annual Growth Brands report tracks profit generating brands and indicators. The distinction of Established Growth Brand denotes a brand rich not only in brand equity, but also in the sales growth needed to sustain lasting growth.
27/03/07 Diageo, the world's leading spirits, wine and beer company, is proud to announce that twelve of its brands have been recognized by Adams Business Research for their performance in 2006.
Seven Diageo brands were recognized as 'Established Growth Brands' by Adams for a third consecutive year, while the company also received accolades in the 'Rising Stars' and 'Comeback Brands' categories. Results are based on domestic U.S. sales.
The following brands have been designated by Adams as 'Established Growth Brands' for the third consecutive year:

-- Captain Morgan
-- Crown Royal
-- Jose Cuervo
-- Johnnie Walker Black Label
-- Sterling Vineyards Collection
-- Guinness Draught
A 'Comeback Brand' award went to:
-- Johnnie Walker Red Label
The Rising Star award went to:
-- Ciroc
-- Edna Valley
-- Smirnoff Twisted V
-- Smithwick's Irish Ale
