14 Dec 2012 --- Vichy Catalán presents an innovation for the Iberian drinks market: The company is the only Spanish natural mineral water producer to market its product in beverage cans. A new product, Vichy Catalán Limón, is likewise to be made available in cans. This marks a major advance on the Spanish mineral market for Vichy Catalán, which is one of the country’s best-known water producers. The 33cl standard aluminum cans are produced by Ball Packaging Europe, one of Europe’s leading beverage can makers.
Vichy Catalán Genuina, a natural mineral water, is now additionally available in cans. By marketing the traditional brand in modern packaging, the company is targeting young consumers with cosmopolitan and healthy lifestyles in the 16 to 35 age group. At the same time, Vichy Catalán is launching a new product in beverage cans: Vichy Catalán Limón, a mineral water with natural lemon flavor.
By marketing its products in cans, Vichy Catalán is moving in line with the two market megatrends toward health and convenience. With the mineral water and its lemon flavor variant, Vichy Catalán offers two products for consumers who want healthy, natural and convenient refreshment anywhere and anytime.
