The Wine Fusion Unveils New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
19 Dec 2014 --- The Wine Fusion has launched a brand new New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc exclusively for Conviviality Retail Plc, the UK’s largest off licence chain and owner of Bargain Booze and Wine Rack.
Bay of Plenty has been designed and developed by the Wine Fusion to offer a high quality Sauvignon Blanc at an accessible price point to Bargain Booze and Wine Rack customers. Produced on the unique rich soils of the Wairau Bay, Marlborough, by the Macdonald family, original descendants of the first Maori settlers, the vineyard boasts a world-class location on the oldest known settlement in New Zealand. With its ocean proximity and marginal climate providing the ideal conditions for harvesting high quality Sauvignon, Bay of Plenty offers a style generous, fruity, vibrant and distinctive wine.
Sarah Richardson, senior buyer at Conviviality Retail comments: “We’re committed to growing the number of exclusive wines available in Bargain Booze and Wine Rack, and Bay of Plenty is an excellent addition to the range. It’s great value for money and comes from one of the highest quality producers in Marlborough”.
Alistair Morrell, director at The Wine Fusion adds: “We are extremely excited about this latest collaboration and are proud of our original and bespoke wine creation services offering contemporary and intelligent wines for our customers. The Wine Fusion creates over one million bottles of high quality Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc a year providing both originality and custom made wine to suit each and every client and their customers.”
Bay of Plenty is available at Wine Rack and Bargain Booze stores nationwide for an RRP of £9.99
