Tesa Introduces VeoMark an Innovative Brand Protection Solution
Tesa scribos announces new solution for efficient counterfeit protection.
Oct 18 2011 --- With VeoMark, tesa scribos is presenting a new security solution for efficient counterfeit protection for brand products. VeoMark is a security label containing a special inscription system which provides both visible and concealed security features for products. Now available on the market, VeoMark is designed to protect goods manufactured in various industries like car spare parts, electronic components, chemicals, luxury goods and clothing.
Developed in-house at tesa scribos, VeoMark Imaging Technology is used to inscribe each security label individually. “The coding on VeoMark labels cannot be copied typographically or using hologram techniques. The code is also always inseparably linked to its label, making each label truly unique. It is this uniqueness which provides counterfeit protection for our security labels,” explains Volker Hahn, Marketing Director at tesa scribos. The labels are already inscribed when they are dispatched and feature codes from a database. The labels allow manufacturers and consumers to verify each product online by comparing the code on the label with the codes in the database.
Design also plays a role
The appearance of individual security labels vary considerably and can be tailored to each customer’s needs. “Eye-catching designs can be integrated into customer loyalty programmes, for example. However, security labels can also be attached in such a way that they are inconspicuous,” says Hahn. Label-on-label solutions also allow labels to be integrated into existing identification systems discreetly. VeoMark security labels can thus also be used in conjunction with QR codes, matrix codes or RFID labels.
