25/03/08 In an effort to fill a void in the beverage aisle at grocery stores nationwide, Dean Foods Company introduced the first ever ice cream parlor style milk shake in a bottle called Chug Milk Shakes.  An extension of the company's number-one selling Chug single-serve milk brand, Chug delivers the indulgent taste of a real milk shake in a convenient, grab and go bottle.

“We took the great taste of milk shakes and ‘Chugged’ it,” said Rick Zuroweste, Senior Vice President, Marketing for Dean Foods.  “Lots of folks thirst for something different, something out of the ordinary.  And, we think Chug Milk Shakes, give people another choice in the beverage aisle.”

Chug Milk Shakes began hitting dairy cases all over the country in December, as part of a national product launch. The new 12-ounce shakes are available in Cookies’n’ Cream, Chocolate, and Vanilla flavors.
