Taco Bueno prepares for expansion
Plans to open more than 70 Taco Bueno locations across North Carolina, Oklahoma, East, Central and South Texas and New Mexico.
23/01/06 The United States, Taco Bueno Restaurants plans for expansion once again with the signing of development agreements with five new franchise groups who have committed to opening more than 70 Taco Bueno locations across North Carolina, Oklahoma, East, Central and South Texas and New Mexico.
Carolina Bueno executed a deal that will take 11 new Taco Buenos into the greater Charlotte area. This represents the concept's first entry into the state of North Carolina. Tom Miller operates Backyard Burgers and previously managed a large Wendy's operation. His partner is KMO Development, an experienced U.S. developer and financier.
The largest development agreement is with Eat, Drink LLC of Texas. Under the leadership of Bill Spae, former president of Steak and Ale and Bennigan's, and partners John Warmack and Mark Van Herpen. Eat, Drink, LLC plans to open 48 restaurants over the next seven years in Austin, San Antonio and Central and South Texas.
Comida Bueno, a Fazzoli's, Exxon and Burger King operator, headed by Terry Davis has also signed an agreement to open five Taco Bueno units in East Texas over the next four years.
Additionally, Quality Brand Management, Bueno's Little Rock franchisee, has signed a second agreement to open Bueno's first captive audience restaurant inside the Riverwinds Casino in Goldsby, Oklahoma. Bueno New Mexico, a large Burger King franchisee will be opening 5 restaurants in the greater Albuquerque area.
Taco Bueno is a Mexican quick-service restaurant that offers Fast Casual Quality at Fast Food Price and Convenience(TM). Founded in 1967 in Abilene, Texas, Taco Bueno today boasts 145 locations in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Kansas.
