Tableaux Wine Brand Launches Red Wine in the U.S. Market
"Tableaux reflects the spirit of the South of France in its taste, but equally in its attitude that life is to be enjoyed simply, everyday," said Philip Ross, President, Artisan Wine Group, Inc.
13/12/07 Tableaux, a new wine brand, announced that it has launched its red wine in the U.S. market. It is available nationally at Cost Plus World Market from November 7th forward. Tableaux was created for the new generation of wine drinkers who like to enjoy an authentic wine experience together with good friends and family.
Cost Plus is the first U.S. retailer to carry the brand. Tableaux retails for $9.99 per bottle. Its award-winning graphics are available at http://www.tableauxwines.com.
"Tableaux is a splendid balance of structure and elegance. We knew we had a winner at the first taste, and our customers appreciate the way it speaks to their lifestyle," said Lisa Schindler, Cost Plus National Wine Buyer.
Tableaux was created by a French-American team. U.S.-based Artisan Wine Group, Inc. owns and imports it exclusively. President Philip Ross was formerly Co-Founder of Salmon Creek Cellars, the 14th largest brand in the restaurant channel, and previously the Director, Business Development at Wine.com (formerly Virtual Vineyards).
Philippe Becker Design (PBD) (http://www.pbdsf.com) of San Francisco created the Tableaux brand packaging. PBD conducted consumer testing, designed the label to convey the wine's heritage straightforwardly, and chose the name, Tableaux, to evoke cherished memories of simple, everyday moments shared among friends and family. PBD clients include Gap, Nestle, Starbucks, and Whole Foods.
In France, team member Francois Despagne, a noted sixth generation wine maker from the Saint Emilion region, created Tableaux using grapes from southern France to create the blend of 50% cabernet and 50% syrah.
"Tableaux reflects the spirit of the South of France in its taste, but equally in its attitude that life is to be enjoyed simply, everyday," said Philip Ross, President, Artisan Wine Group, Inc.
