T42 introduces new 4-Packs
T42 is a diverse line of highly acclaimed all-natural, caffeine-free, fruit flavored Herbal Teas and traditional Classic Teas under the T42 logo.
29/06/06 Teacrest Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of 4-Pack carriers to its beverage line-up. Four T42 flavors: Raspberry Herbal Tea, Iced Tea with Lemon, Earl Grey Tea and Green Tea with Lemon made their debut over the past 2 weeks in Wegmans stores from New York to Virginia as well as in several high-end independent markets in New York State. Cavallaro Foods based in Syracuse, NY was the primary distributor.
“As a small tea company we have to remain competitive and responsive. Innovation and quality has always been our trademark and the T42 4-Pack combines both. The elegant black packaging with our unique white logo creates a striking presence on the retail shelf”, said Maurice Hakim, President of Teacrest.
The carriers are currently offered to distributors and retailers in a total of six T42 flavors including Peach Herbal Tea and Green Tea with Ginger as well as Raspberry Herbal Tea, Iced Tea with Lemon, Earl Grey Tea and Green Tea with Lemon.
“We have been playing with the idea for over 3 years but we only wanted to introduce this concept in a very high end market. We finally moved ahead when Wegmans decided to go this route. We couldn’t be happier. We’ve got one of the finest supermarket chains in the country and exposure in many Northeast states all at the same time”, Mr. Hakim added.
According to Mr. Hakim, the response has been very positive so far and the 4-Pack will soon be appearing in other stores as well as a major natural foods chain. “Stores are looking for higher retail unit items especially as component manufacturing costs are escalating.”
