Symrise's Contract with Executive Board Member Achim Daub Extended Until 2016

18 Mar 2013 --- The Supervisory Board of Symrise AG has extended Executive Board member Achim Daub’s contract ahead of time until the end of 2016. This step ensures continuity among the senior management of Symrise. Achim Daub has been a member of the Executive Board since 2006.

Dr. Thomas Rabe, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, said: “We are pleased about the extension of the contract with Achim Daub, who has successfully led the Scent & Care division since the company’s IPO in 2006. This continuity is a positive signal to employees, customers and shareholders. Symrise is very well positioned from a strategic perspective and has all the best preconditions for continued profitable growth. The Supervisory Board is pleased to continue its positive working relationship with Achim Daub in the coming years.”

Since 2004, Achim Daub (50) has held various management positions within the Group’s Scent & Care division in Germany, France and the USA. He has been responsible for the division worldwide since the company’s IPO in 2006. By focusing on rapidly expanding segments and markets over the past several years, Achim Daub significantly advanced  the global positioning of Symrise’s business with fragrances, aroma chemicals and cosmetic active ingredients.
