Superior Powders Acquires Spray-Drying Operation from Agrisales

03/09/08 SuperiorPowders Ltd. announces its purchase of a European contract drying facility, located near Bristol, from Agrisales Ltd. SuperiorPowders is a joint venture between D.D. Williamson and Marigot - two, well-established food ingredient companies. SuperiorPowders offers manufacturing capabilities in spray-drying, agglomerating, and dry blending by processing only food or pharmaceutical grade ingredients.
"SuperiorPowders' operation offers impressive drying scale choices on modern equipment for customers in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries," said Ted Nixon, Chairman, D.D. Williamson. Customers developing R & D prototypes can opt for small batch dryers at rates of 2kgs or 15 kgs per hour. Those requiring larger batches can dry at 200 kgs or 3,000 kgs per hour.
