Sundia launches new juice blends

Now, Sundia Corporation announces three new juice blends: Watermelon Pomegranate, Watermelon Blackberry, and Watermelon Lime. Sundia blended watermelon juice with deep, rich-colored fruit juices to create antioxidant powerhouses. Because of the watermelon base, each is naturally loaded with lycopene, the most powerful antioxidant of all. Like the original, all three are made with 100% juice and contain no preservatives or added sugar.

Sundia Watermelon Pomegranate combines two antioxidant powerhouses. Pomegranate juice has been shown to have three times as much antioxidant as an equivalent amount of green tea or red wine, while watermelon juice is the leading source of natural lycopene, the most potent scavenger of oxygen radicals.

Watermelon's rise to superfood status came after the USDA Agricultural Research found that a serving can contain up to 40% more lycopene than an equivalent amount of tomatoes, another leading natural source of lycopene. But unlike the lycopene contained in tomatoes, that in watermelon is readily absorbed by the human body without needing to be cooked or pasteurized.
