Sugarlands Distilling Company Adds Peppermint and Root Beer Moonshine Flavors

22 Jan 2016 --- Sugarlands Distilling Company, producer of award-winning moonshine in East Tennessee, has announced Peppermint and Root Beer Moonshine as the newest additions to their celebrated line of moonshine offerings.

Peppermint Moonshine, a.k.a. Mint Condition, is a 100 proof spirit that meets the palette with a bright splash. The crisp taste is rounded out by hints of light cocoa and cream. The velvety balance of Mint Condition will leave you feeling refreshed, satisfied, and warm inside.

At 70 proof, Root Beer Moonshine will bring you right back to the soda stand of your childhood. It is simple, almost bubbly, with the perfect touch of sweetness. The mellow mix of sassafras root, vanilla, and wintergreen make this a timeless classic.

“We have been working hard to perfect our root beer and peppermint moonshine,” said Head Distiller Greg Eidam. “Both flavors have a vintage appeal that inspires a certain type of nostalgia. We think our fans will be very happy.”

Moonshine fans will be able to purchase both Peppermint and Root Beer Moonshine at the downtown Gatlinburg distillery beginning February 14, 2016. The public is invited to join Sugarlands Distilling Co. for a Valentine’s Day celebration to launch the two newest additions to the Sugarlands Shine product line.

Peppermint and Root Beer join an award-winning line of Sugarlands Shine that has won 20 awards internationally since distillation began in 2014.
