SOLACTIS Group to Strengthen Commercial Development in Africa
01 May 2014 --- On the occasion of the official visit to France of a Tunisian delegation, SOLACTIS Group, an innovative "biotech" start-up oriented towards life sciences and nutrition, met this Monday, Ms. Geneviève Fioraso, French Secretary of State for Higher Education and Research, his Excellency the Head of the Tunisian Government, Mr Mehdi Jomaa, and Mr Tawfik Jelassi, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and ICT.
Solactis Group was selected with two other start-up companies incubated at Agoranov (public incubator for innovative technology transfer) to present their activities, recent achievements and the potential of value creation upstream and downstream, for loacal economies. During this visit, the Franco - Tunisian SOLACTIS Group management, composed of Pascal Ronfard and Moez Kmicha, highlighted the potential of Tunisia as a dynamic market, offering tailored business possibilities for Nutrition, as well as adapted structures for rapid growth in North Africa, and the rest of Africa.
"The notion of taste and eating habits are two important criteria if you want have a successful business development in nutrition. The visit of the Tunisian delegation allows us to make contact with the appropriate structures to better understand the expectations of the local market. We believe that development in Africa goes mainly through partnerships and synergies with public and private Research Centers. Tunisia, through its appropriate structures, is a wise choice for our development in Africa" said Pascal Ronfard.
