Shebeen Brewing Releases JavaPig Stout in New Package Format
25 Jan 2016 --- Shebeen Brewing Company is kicking off the New Year with the release of one of its most popular seasonal beers, JavaPig Stout—the newest addition to the brewery’s can lineup. Made in Connecticut using locally roasted coffee and bacon, JavaPig is the brewers’ take on a traditional dry stout kicked up a notch in true Shebeen fashion.
Shebeen is excited to continue its partnerships with Shearwater Organic Coffee Roasters (Trumbull) and Nodine’s Smokehouse (Torrington) to make this remarkably unique rich, roasted stout.
“We were excited to get involved in this project to help Shebeen, another local Connecticut company, put out a great beer that would contain Shearwater Organic Coffee. I understand that JavaPig Stout has won over many fans. Congratulations to Shebeen!” said Shearwater’s Ed Freedman.
JavaPig Stout will be available throughout Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina from January through March; sold both in six-packs and on draught. Despite being a dark rich stout, this winter seasonal is surprisingly sessionable with a light body and an ABV of 5.1 percent. JavaPig Stout is the perfect beer for sitting by a fire, whether with a meal or as a meal.
