Shaw Wallace to enter draught beer market
Plans to extend Castle Lager and Royal Challenge brands into the domestic draught beer business.
20/05/05 India, Shaw Wallace Breweries Ltd, managed by SABMiller plans to enter into the draught beer market, reports Business Line.
The company is finalising plans to extend Castle Lager and Royal Challenge brands into the domestic draught beer business, starting with Bangalore having sizeable share of the draught beer sales in the country with Mumbai, Delhi and Chandigarh.
The company would own and supply the beer dispensing machines to the on-premise consumption outlets, in a bid to ensure regular cleaning and servicing of the beer dispensing heads, sources added.
