Sensient Food Colors Extend Their Natural Food Coloring Range To Include Yellow and Orange
07 Jul 2016 --- Food coloring company Sensient Food Colors have announced the addition of bright yellow and bright orange food coloring to their natural food color repertoire.
Created without using additives, Sensient have instead employed carefully tailored concentration techniques from specially selected traditional food sources to achieve the new colorings. These products fully comply with the EU Guidance notes on coloring foods.
Claiming that their new bright yellow and orange shades are both stable and attractive in tone, the company states that both are suitable for an extensive range of sweet and savoury applications, including products such as water ices, ice creams, desserts, dairy and bakery products, as well as savoury products like sauces, seasonings, soups and snacks.
The new orange preparation is also available in oil soluble form for coloring fat or oil based applications such as coatings, fillings, decorations, sauces and inclusions.
With the addition of these new brighter color hues, food manufacturers can achieve vibrant yellow and orange shades in all types of food products without the need for adding color additives. Various sweet flavours can be matched with their corresponding colors, such as lemon, banana, pineapple, and melon through to apricot, peach, mandarin, orange, papaya and tropical fruits.
“All the new coloring food products have been rigorously and extensively tested in the corresponding applications and demonstrate a consistent, superior performance, providing attractive end product shade results” commented Dr. Andreas Klingenberg, Technical Director at Sensient Food Colors Europe.
These new coloring food products from Sensient complete the range of bright strawberry red shades when used in combination with red coloring food preparations like Black Carrot Juice Concentrate or Beetroot Juice.
