Sazerac Announces Partnership with Linie Aquavit
21 Jan 2016 --- The Sazerac Company is announcing an exciting new partnership with Lysholm Linie, the world’s most famous aquavit. Effective immediately, Sazerac has partnered with ArcusGruppen to act as the sole importer in the United States.

Aquavit is the spirit of the Nordic, with the first known reference to Aquavit dating back to April 1531. Known for its unique maturation process, Linie Aquavit is matured in a warehouse for 12 months in 500 liter sherry casks before being matured four more months aboard the deck of a ship traveling the world. In fact, at any given time, more than a thousand Linie Aquavit casks are maturing as deck cargo on the oceans. Linie Aquavit’s delicate taste offers a combination of caraway, anis seed, orange peel and vanilla.
Every bottle of Linie Aquavit carries details of its voyage around the world on the reverse of its label and the actual trip the aquavit in every bottle has taken can be viewed at the linie website.
