San Miguel acquires Berri
Buys the remaining 49 per cent of Berri for $169 million.
04/01/06 South-East Asia's largest food and beverage company, San Miguel, has acquired Australian juice maker Berri.
San Miguel purchased 51 per cent of Berri in August last year and has now bought the remaining 49 per cent through National Foods for $169 million.
San Miguel is the market leader for beer, soft drinks, poultry, dairy and processed foods in the Philippines.
