Sabinsa Issued Patent for Process of Manufacturing Resveratrol and Related Polyphenols

28/08/07 Sabinsa Corporation has secured U.S. Patent No. 7,253,324, protecting the process for the synthesis of biologically active polyphenolic compounds by novel dealkylation. This process of aromatic poly o-demethylation is applicable in the manufacturing of polyphenols such as resveratrol, oxyresveratrol and gnetol.
