Represented for over 10 years in Russia by Rhodia, Roquette has seen its turnover growing rapidly. Given the present level of its business, Roquette has decided to go out on its own by setting up OOO ROQUETTE RUS.
14/04/08 Using the latest technology, Roquette is one of the world’s most advanced starch and starch derivatives businesses. With the growing development of the Russian market, Roquette decided to reinforce its presence in this area by opening its own sales subsidiary on Monday 24th March 2008.
Since the beginning of this century Russia has seen an important and rapid development of its economy. The current expansions in the starch and derivatives market and its prospects have led Roquette to strengthen its presence in this zone.

The main strategy for Roquette is to be able to participate in the growth of a market in the full throes of reconstruction. Roquette will be present locally to respond to customers’ needs and to monitor probable market developments.
Thanks to a sales team in the different business units and technical support to help locally, Roquette Russ wants to anticipate and satisfy customers' requirements.
By reinforcing its sales team, Roquette Rus hopes to develop rapidly in Russia and in the neighbouring countries forming the CIS (Community of Independent States).
